Isa
Isa (21) was doing an internship in Austria for her hospitality management program when she fell while skiing in February 2025. It was a sunny day, and like often on such days, she decided to go up the mountain with a classmate. Because of the bright sun, she couldn't see the depth on the slopes well and flew over a little hill, landing on her back. She knew immediately that something was wrong.
David
David (35) built a career in hospitality after studying accounting, a social study, and attending the secondary and higher Hotel School. During a winter sports holiday with friends, David had a serious fall. He sustained an incomplete spinal cord injury at the level of his eighth thoracic vertebra (T8). He also broke twelve ribs and three vertebrae and suffered a perforated lung.
